Welcome! |

|
HAVE YOU EVER....
- Gone home from work, distressed about how you have been treated - whether by your line manager, colleagues or customers?
- Been told off or disciplined at work unfairly?
- Had an accident at work and not known what to do next?
- Needed to know something about employment law, conditions at work, health & safety, contracts, redundancy?
WHAT DID YOU DO?
- Nothing?
- Complain to family and friends?
- Leave that job and go where you will be better appreciated?
- Talk to a lawyer or employment adviser?
-
CONTACT YOUR UNION?
Doing nothing and/or complaining to your friends
and family is not a good option, and leaving
the job should be the very last resort.
Talking to someone is the right thing to do.
Talking to a lawyer can be expensive, and
employment advisers cannot always offer useful
advice precisely tailored to your particular
needs.
Further, they cannot go with you to talk to
your employer.
A Union Representative can.
If you are a member of a Union, good for you!
Use it, you pay for it!
We do not encourage any member of another Union
to join the RBA, but we do believe that, if
you are not a Union member, then you should
join a good one, and that's us!
We would say that, wouldn't we?
Then again, no-one signs up for life.
If you don't get the service you want, stop
paying (tell us so first, so we get the chance
to redeem ourselves!). When you do get the service
you want, tell all your friends...!
We don't promise to cure all problems, but we
are dedicated and persuasive "solution
providers", and we work hard to see that
you get the best chance to enjoy a rewarding
and trouble-free career, wherever you work and
we ensure that you do not stand alone when you
are faced with a problem.
WE WORK FOR YOU!! |
